In the Heart of barcelona, close to Plaça Cataluña y Las Ramblas, surrounded by shops, department stores and historic monuments you will find the Hotel Nouvel; a modernist building from the end of the 19th century that was converted into a hotel in 1917 making it one of the oldest hotels in Barcelona. With the arrival of the Barcelona Olympic games the hotel was completely renovated whilst maintaining the features that make it unique: Artisan ceilings, lamps of cast bronze and crystal, marble floors and colour schemes immortalized by Roca-Sastre. The expansion of the hotel in 2003 has given it one of the most sophisticated fire detection systems that exist.

All rooms differ on decoration and size. Rooms are spacious and confortable with pleasant decoration. All rooms are fully equipped with private bathroom, high cealings, hairdryer, air conditioning , TV with satellite connection, direct telephone and safety box. Some rooms still retain the old fashioned style from the decades ago.

Restaurant maintain the same modernist design with an atrium and full of natural light. Cuisine is composed by elaborated dishes with a blend of typical ingredients and a twist of creativity.
